Join us at beautiful River Island Art Park in downtown Woonsocket for 1st of 10 FREE concerts for the Levitt AMP Woonsocket Music Series. Concerts will continue every Friday from June 14-August 23 (skipping July 5).
This double header evening of kizomba and hip hop beats features Rhode Islanders P. Lowe and Chachi Carvalho. The evening will offer special recognition for all of the Woonsocket Graduating Seniors from Beacon Charter High School for the Arts, Official Mount Saint Charles Academy, and Woonsocket High School and WACTC! Come out and celebrate your accomplishments!
The Levitt AMP Woonsocket Music Series is FREE and open to the public. Come ready to eat, dance, and have a great time! Bring a friend and something to sit on.

P. Lowe is a Kizomba Artist born in America with Jamaican roots. He smoothly blends Kizomba/Zouk, Rock, Neo-Soul, Afro-House and Hip-Hop into one energetic and harmonious performance.
ABOUT CHACHI CARVALHO
Chachi Carvalho is a multi-talented artist and educator who comes from a long line of musicians and singers in his family. He is a native born-and-raised Rhode Islander with roots that stem from the islands of Cabo Verde. He was a two-time winner of the Wild Out Wednesday’s competition on BET’s 106 & Park. Chachi was recently awarded the 2014 Cape Verdean Music Award for best hip-hop act. His recent wave of accomplishments includes performances at the Kennedy Center, the Moshito Music Conference in Johannesburg, South Africa, performances at the top music festivals in the Cape Verde Islands, and back-to-back appearances at Rhode Island’s premier international music and arts festival, PVD FEST.

River Island Art Park is located at 95 Bernon Street, Woonsocket RI. The park offers plenty of open grass for seating and is right along the beautiful Blackstone River.
Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs to the open lawn concert setting. All ages are welcome, and admission is FREE.
Free parking is available at municipal lots throughout the city.
