You’ll serve for eight weeks supporting the Woonsocket community with everything from youth programming, and a summer concert series, to financial fitness and communications. VISTA’s receive a biweekly stipend and an education award for their service.
NWBRV is seeking 3 AmeriCorps VISTA’s for a year of service in Woonsocket starting in August. Positions include Community Engagement – working on strategies to reach out to parents and families, Creative Community Development – supporting economic development initiative in the Millrace Kitchen incubator space and developing creative programming for the Millrace District, and Digital Media and Online Learning – creating strategies to streamline our operations and develop online content to support learning.
