Tell us about yourself.
Hi, my name is Tanisha Dennis! I reside in Providence, RI with my husband and kids. I am the mother to two daughters and a son.

What do you do at NWBRV?
I am the Site Coordinator at the C3 Center. This role involves managing the staff, day to day operations and planning FUN activities for the students!
How long have you been working with NWBRV, and how did you start working with the organization?
I am fairly new to the organization, I’ve been with NWBRV for six months. I applied for the position because I was interested in working with students to help prepare them for college.
What inspires you to do this work?
I am so inspired by the students!! Everyday that I come to work I have an opportunity to connect with students. I also love that I’m able to share information about resources, opportunities and assist them with seeing the potential within themselves.
What is your proudest accomplishment working with NWBRV?
So far, I am really proud to have worked with NWBRV staff in the reopening of the C3 Center. It had been closed for a while due to the pandemic and I knew the students would be excited about it being open again.
