In just four hours, a team 18-strong from Wells Fargo completely transformed an affordable apartment. They landscaped – removing dead trees and sprucing up a youth play area. They painted – updating the interior of an affordable unit with modern colors for new tenants. And they put their muscles to the test, removing VERY heavy old furniture from the apartment to make way for the next set of tenants.
“Our group of volunteers includes team members from our Wells Fargo Commercial Banking office in Providence and our Wells Fargo Advisors offices in Providence and Hyannis, MA. This project is part of Wells Fargo Builds, a national program that provides financial support to nonprofit organizations when Wells Fargo team members help build, renovate, paint or repair a home for low-to-moderate income (LMI) households” says Briana Curran, Wells Fargo’s Vice President, Communications & Community Relations, New England.
“We are so grateful to have the support of Wells Fargo team members in Woonsocket, RI” said Meg Rego, Director of Resoruce Development & Communication for NWBRV. “In what seemed like the blink of an eye, the hardworking team completely transformed a space that we’d been working on for months!”
