Sunday, January 20: 3:00pm

Monday, January 21: 11:00am
The MLK Memorial Service will take place at the MLK sculpture Garden (Mason & South Main Street) followed by a Community Potluck at Millrace (40 South Main Street). Please bring something to share.
At 1:00PM, all are invited to participate in our interactive community forum entitled: “Have Respect, Get Respect,” also at Millrace. The forum features a panel of diverse local leaders who are sure to deliver a thought-provoking discussion. Listen and share your opinions about how we can learn to interact and disagree with civility in today’s society.
In 2015, The Woonsocket police department recognized the Woonsocket MLK Community Committee as the “Organization of the Year” for its partnership with the police department in working toward positive change in the community.
