ABOUT TRAY WELLINGTON
Tray Wellington is an acclaimed banjo innovator whose genre-defying approach bridges folk, bluegrass, jazz, hip hop, and contemporary roots music. His newest project, Heart on the Table, blends folk storytelling traditions with contemporary rhythm, improvisation, and hip hop influences, creating a bold new sound in modern roots music. Having appeared at Newport Folk Festival, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and Saturday Night Live alongside Mumford & Sons, Wellington continues to emerge as one of the most exciting boundary-pushing voices in acoustic music.
