NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley is seeking a Youth Programs Manager. This individual will join a dynamic Community Building and Engagement team in Woonsocket, Rhode Island. This education professional will oversee daily operations of NWBRV’s College Ready Communities program in Woonsocket, North Smithfield and Burrillville. The College Ready Communities is a full out-of-school-time program that targets K-12 youth residing within NWBRV’s 345 affordable housing units. It provides academic, social, emotional, and college preparatory support through before and after school programs, vacation week programming, and summer learning opportunities. The program focuses on preparing youth for college, building their leadership skills and self-esteem as well as creating stronger connections between our youth and the community at- large. The Youth Programs Manager will also oversee the operations of the DCYF certified childcare centers and the innovative Community Builder-In-Residence at the C3 Center in Woonsocket.
