Join us at Greenridge Commons for our brand new Youth Program!
Greenridge Commons, which was completed in 2017 and consists of 96 one, two and three bedroom apartments and townhouses in Pascoag village, is proud to offer a youth program this fall!
We’re encouraging everyone to attend! This is a brand new space, where kids can engage with their neighbors and have fun. Come eat, play and learn!”
Brandon Soum, NWBRV’s Director of Neighborhood Learning & Community Building
Offered to youth ages 7-18 living in the Greenridge Commons, the after school program is NOW OPEN on Mondays and Tuesday from 3:30-5:30pm! With a solid kickoff week under their belts, teachers and students alike look forward to a fantastic fall. Since opening, parents and their children have popped in to familiarize themselves with the space, created art, played sports, socialized, and enjoyed everything from pizza to homemade chicken salad!
I liked coloring because I don’t have these supplies at home. We get food, drinks, and activities. I like being able to make new friends and play outside!”

“Our goal is for youth to engage with teachers, in an effort to become more connected with the community they live in,” Brandon Soum, NWBRV’s Director of Neighborhood Learning & Community Building said. “Teachers have planned curriculums that help youth build skills allowing them to become contributing community members and build leadership skills.”
During the hours of the center, youth are provided with snacks and thorough school and homework assistance. Activities will consist of everything from art and games, to cooking and computer literacy. Opportunities to participate in outdoor sports, recreational activities, watch movies and celebrate upcoming holidays will also be offered intermittently throughout the course of the program!
I’m looking forward to celebrating Halloween! And to having peace and quiet and doing my homework here.”

Why should I invite my friends? It’s fun! You get to play activities with your friends and have fun. It’s nice being able to play with friends in a new place.”
