Substitute Enrichment Teachers Wanted

July 24, 2015 by Thea Lowe

NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley’s Youth Programs are looking for substitute enrichment teachers who will be willing to work 1 to 2 days a week, as needed, filling in for after school staff who are not available to work their scheduled shifts due to emergencies or scheduled days off.

Substitutes will have to travel to the cities of Woonsocket and North Smithfield to work with youth ranging from kindergarten to high school aged.  Elementary school programs run from 3:00pm to 6:00pm and middle/high school programs operate from 2:00pm to 8:00pm, Monday through Friday. Our program operates full day during most school vacations as well.

Substitute enrichment teachers will assist staff members in addition to providing homework help, teaching enrichment classes, and supervising youth. We also ask that all teachers complete light paperwork and record keeping.
