Looking for somewhere to host that special event in the New Year? Wishing your rental money was going towards a greater good? Look no further than NeighborWorks Blackstone River Valley’s very own event space rentals! By choosing one of our spaces, you’re also choosing to support everything from youth programs and community events to affordable housing and promising food start ups.
By directing rental income towards supporting our mission to enrich neighborhood life, NWBRV has been able to help foster a strong community full of committed, invested residents, and thriving local businesses. With several options for you to choose from, we feel confident that the perfect venue is well within your reach!
Our Millrace main event space can hold up to 125 people, offering seating for up to 99 and hourly rental rates that start at $65 per hour. We’re proud to offer a flexible a-la-cart method of renting, which ensures that renters will only pay for what they need as opposed to everything that is available. Additionally, partnering with one of our amazing Millrace Kitchen members for your event can help take the stress of food preparation off of your plate.
The Millrace Event Space is the perfect location for your next party! Whether you’re looking to host a birthday, bridal shower, baby shower, or even a work related event—board meeting, lecture, class, corporate workshop or retreat! We can do it all, for all occasions!”
Adam Brunetti, NWBRV Millrace Event Space Manager
Our kitchen incubator is available for rent to individuals interested in expanding their established businesses. The space is complete with state-of-the-art equipment and a supportive team to assist with business planning and food education. Signing up to be a Millrace kitchen member offers the access to equipment and support services to help advance your food business.
“As the commercial real estate agent who covers NeighborWorks’ commercial rental properties, I can safely say it has a positive effect for a potential renter to lease space from NWBRV,” Garrett Mancieri of Mancieri Real Estate said. “They know that their money is being invested right back into the community.”
Our Café space downstairs has space for 40 people, and at the reasonable rental fee of $40 per hour, is a great spot for smaller events. Here at NeighborWorks we’ve had the honor of hosting everything from presentations and meetings to open mic and community game nights.
“Combine these spaces with our outdoor patio and wood fired pizza oven that can be rented for private parties and team building activities,” Adam elaborated, “And you have everything you need to entertain your friends, family, and co-workers. We can provide tables, chairs, linens, sound, and AV equipment.”
For more information on holding your next winter event at Millrace, visit www.millracekitchen.org and complete an inquiry form. Inquires will be responded to within 72 hours. We all could use a little post-holiday event cheer in our lives–let us be a part of planning yours!
Renting these spaces has a social bonus–the income is used to support NWBRV’s programs! We’re hoping this gives kitchen members an opportunity to try out a restaurant without investing lots of money. People are more excited to possibly rent knowing that the rental fees support NWBRV’s mission. It’s great to know the money you’re spending is doing a good deed for the community!”
